Description
Mackenson, Charna and their son, Chavensky, live outside of Port-au – Prince, Haiti. Mackenson has an a right above knee amputation and is a member of the Team Zaryen Amputee Soccer Team. Their son has leg deformities from malnutrition and requires splints that need frequent adjustments to help his legs grow correctly. Mackenson has training as an electrician but has not been able to find work to support his family. He has a smile that lights up a room and a desire to provide for his family. Mackenson has been trying to start a business selling water to the people in his community. We have given him a microloan to help get this started but has not come been able to provide him enough to buy food and pay for his sons medical expenses and schooling.
