Medical Equipment Donation and Lending

Most people have gently used equipment from past injuries and surgeries in their homes.  Instead of having them pile up, why not donate it for someone in need?

What Kind of Equipment Do We Collect?

We collect new and gently used medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, shower chairs and tub benches.  We’ll give you a receipt for your tax deductible donation from our charitable organization.  If you are unsure if you have an item that we need, send us an email at info@communityrehabproject.com and let us know what you would like to donate.  We will get back to you right away and let you know if we can accept it.

What Happens with the Equipment?

We use the equipment to donate to local people in need as well as bring to affected areas in response to natural disasters that occur in the United States.  Lastly, we may also ship them globally to under developed countries in need.  In the past, we have sent shipments of medical supplies to Port-au-Prince, Haiti and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Central Africa.

How Can I Borrow Equipment?

Send an email to info@communityrehabproject.com  or call us at (315)765-0063.  We lend the equipment to you for a short time or sell them to you for a nominal fee, such as $10 for a walker to fund our global programs in a pay-it-forward type program.
